The best of the Carpathians: Făgăraș - Bucegi - Piatra Craiului

The best of Southern Carpahtians

This one-week tour is dedicated to those who want  to explore the most impressive mountain massifs in Romania and who want a little bit of challenge.

We offer you 7 days of hiking in the most important and spectacular mountain ranges in Romania: Retezat, Făgăraș, Piatra Craiului and Bucegi!

Retezat was chosen as the most beloved mountain range in Romania, and the reason for this choice lies in its charm created by the alpine ridges and especially by the over 80 glacial lakes of an overwhelming blue.

The Făgăraș Mountains, also known as the Transylvanian Alps, are mountains of the highest order. The heights and roughness of these mountains can be a challenge even for the most experienced mountaineers. However, approaching it with due respect, Făgăraș offers the tourist some of the most spectacular segments of alpine ridge in Europe, and the highest peaks and edges in Romania.

It is hard not to fall in love with Piatra Craiului. With its limestone slopes, these mountains offer countless possibilities for trails, some bordering on hiking and climbing. In addition to the steep landscapes and peaks over 2000 meters, Piatra Craiului enchants the eyes of visitors with its abundance of flora and fauna. Black goats and edelweiss  are among the natural wonders of these impressive mountains.

The Bucegi Mountains or the cradle of the alpine community in Romania, the place where the first climbers tested their limits on the vertical walls of the eastern slopes. The Bucegi, formed of sedimentary rocks, offer active tourism lovers some of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe but also a special floristic diversity, especially in June and July. Pink carpets on entire slopes and many other rare flowers hidden among the rocks, are some of the unique treasures of these special mountains.
